cost models

Which price model works best?

1. Project work contract

Fixed amount for the development (contract for work).
Full plannability of costs right from the start of development.
This option is usually used to commission us with the complete development of a product. (see development process)

2. Licence work contract

Lower fixed amount for development (contract for work) followed by a licence fee per device.
Suitable for start-ups or companies that are not willing to take risks. Low investment costs - ongoing costs are only incurred if your product is sold on the market and you make a profit.
Each device must be unlocked with a licence key before first use, otherwise it remains without function. A licence fee is charged per device for the licence key.

3. Task-based service contract

Billing according to time and effort (service contract) No contractual commitment, quick and easy scalability of engineering know-how.
Advantageous when taking on sub-project tasks. Also suitable for after-sales support or further development of existing products.

4. Time-based service contract

Service contract for a time contingent. You agree on a fixed number of working hours within a certain time frame and can call them up as needed.
Ideal if you have unpredictable peaks in demand and need additional expertise and performance quickly.
